The Foundation for Fresh Produce is growing a healthier world by changing the trajectory of human health. We believe fruits and vegetables are the answer and we must remove barriers that prevent people from eating them. 

The Foundation focuses on improving the appeal of fruits and vegetables as an integral part of people’s diets, supporting solutions that provide easier fruit and vegetable access, nurturing passionate fruit and vegetable professionals, and scaling partner programs that strengthen our collective global impact.  

Together with our partners and donors, we’re driving four outcomes to grow consumption:

This consumer-facing website is designed to drive appeal for fruits and vegetables. Rooted in behavioral research insights and consumer trends, fruitsandveggies.org serves as a go-to resource for recipes, fruit and vegetable information, and inspiration.

Every year The Foundation brings together produce industry marketers and consumer health and wellness influencers to learn and collaborate for increased fruit and vegetable consumption. Join us April 28 - April 30, 2025 in Dallas, TX

Produce For All Leadership Summit

The Foundation co-hosted the inaugural Summit in June 2024 with Partnership for a Healthier America. Discussion and insights shared among the 130 leaders from the business, public, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors led to an actionable plan to double produce consumption in communities around the United States. K-12 School Breakfast Recipes

To assist school foodservice professionals in meeting new meal pattern requirements for added sugar limits, The Foundation partnered with the team at Healthy School Recipes to develop 10 new recipes specifically for K-12 settings with low amounts of added sugar. See the Recipes.

Produce in the Public Interest

As part of IFPA’s industry commitments coming out of the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, & Health, The Foundation has developed a framework to track the top 18 drivers of produce consumption globally and discover the most effective ways to increase fruit and vegetable consumption.
